About this course

The Capstone Assessment is the last step in the Partner Specialization: Claude Code learning path. It skips the definition recall and puts you in client situations instead, the kind where the right answer depends on context, not memorization.

Thirty-four questions, single and multi-select, pulled from all eight courses. Each scenario is grounded in something you'll actually encounter on an activation:

  • Model selection and deployment path: choosing the right Claude tier for the task, recommending a path based on cloud commitments, and knowing what the client gives up by not going direct
  • Install and environment troubleshooting: diagnosing hangs, proxy failures, and certificate errors before they become Day 1 escalations
  • Configuration and governance: knowing which scope wins when settings conflict, what belongs in CLAUDE.md versus managed-settings.json, and how to enforce policy without over-restricting
  • Extensibility decisions: MCP governance, what makes a Skill description effective, when to use subagents over parallel instances, and what goes into a handoff plugin
  • Administration sequencing: role assignments, spend limits, SSO and SCIM, and how to catch the gaps that cause Day 1 failures before kickoff
  • Delivery calls: qualifying use cases, designing pilots, capturing baselines, and making the right judgment when the engagement doesn't go to plan

Complete the assessment successfully, and you earn the Claude Partner Badge: Claude Code.
